Rental Systems

Fully operational water and wastewater treatment units available for short-term, temporary, and emergency needs. No capital investment. No long lead times. Full technical support included from day one.

Flexible Water Treatment. When and Where You Need It.

Not every water treatment requirement is permanent. Construction projects have defined timelines. Facilities face unexpected shutdowns. Demand peaks seasonally. Regulatory deadlines cannot wait for a permanent plant to be built.

GWT’s rental systems are designed for exactly these situations. Modular, pre-commissioned units are deployed quickly to site, customised to the source water and treatment requirements of the project, and supported by GWT’s technical team throughout the rental period. When the project ends or the permanent system is ready, the unit is demobilised with no long-term obligation.

With over 2,000 projects delivered across the UAE and MENA since 1992, GWT brings the same engineering standards to rental deployments as to permanent installations.

When a Rental System Makes Sense

Construction and Temporary Camps Large construction projects generate sewage and require clean water supply for the duration of the build. A rental STP or RO unit provides compliant treatment without committing capital to infrastructure that will not be needed after project completion.

Emergency and Unplanned Demand Equipment failures, infrastructure upgrades, or unexpected increases in water demand can leave a facility non-compliant or without supply. GWT’s rental units can be mobilised quickly to restore treatment capacity while permanent repairs or replacements are completed.

Seasonal and Peak Demand Some facilities experience significant fluctuations in water or wastewater volumes depending on the time of year. Rental units supplement existing capacity during peak periods without the cost of permanently oversizing the installed plant.

Fast-Track Project Requirements When a project timeline does not allow for the design and construction of a permanent plant, a rental system bridges the gap. It keeps the project compliant and operational while the permanent solution is engineered and built.

Pilot and Trial Applications Rental units allow clients to trial a treatment technology or validate performance under actual site conditions before committing to a permanent installation.

What Is Included in a GWT Rental

GWT’s rental service covers more than the equipment. Every rental deployment includes site assessment and system sizing, delivery and installation, commissioning and startup, operator training, and ongoing technical support for the duration of the rental period.

Spare parts, chemicals, and consumables are available through GWT’s local aftermarket supply to minimise downtime and keep systems running within performance targets. Maintenance visits and performance checks are scheduled throughout the rental period based on the agreed service plan.

Clients have a single point of contact at GWT for all technical, operational, and logistics queries.

Available Rental Systems

GWT’s rental fleet covers a broad range of water and wastewater treatment technologies. Each unit is configured to the specific source water quality, required treatment outcome, and site conditions of the project.

Reverse Osmosis Plants Seawater and brackish water RO units for potable and process water production. Available across a range of flow capacities to suit small camps, large industrial facilities, and everything in between.

Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) Biological treatment units for construction camps, residential compounds, hospitality facilities, and temporary communities. Configured to flow volume and local discharge or reuse standards.

Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) Physical, chemical, and biological treatment for industrial process and chemical wastewater. Configured following site-specific effluent characterisation to ensure compliant discharge or internal reuse.

Grey Water Treatment Units Compact systems for treating and recycling grey water for non-potable reuse. Suitable for residential, commercial, and hospitality applications requiring freshwater demand reduction.

TSE Polishing Units Ultrafiltration and RO-based systems for upgrading secondary treated effluent to reuse-grade quality. Supporting irrigation, landscaping, and industrial reuse applications.

Pumping Stations Portable pumping units for water transfer across treatment and distribution networks. Suited to temporary infrastructure, bypass operations, and emergency supply scenarios.

Why Rent from GWT

No Capital Investment Rental eliminates the upfront cost of purchasing, installing, and commissioning a permanent system. Operational expenditure replaces capital expenditure, which is often the preferred approach for temporary or time-limited project requirements.

Fast Mobilisation GWT’s pre-commissioned rental units are ready for rapid deployment. Site assessment, delivery, installation, and startup are coordinated by GWT’s team to minimise the time between contract and operation.

Compliance Maintained All rental systems are engineered to meet local regulatory discharge and water quality standards. Clients stay compliant throughout the rental period without interruption to operations.

Full Technical Support GWT provides technical support, scheduled maintenance, and consumables supply throughout the rental period. Clients are not left to manage the system independently.

Scalable Capacity Multiple units can be deployed in parallel where higher capacity is required. Capacity scales with project demand without long-term infrastructure commitment.

What is the minimum rental period?

Rental periods are flexible and agreed based on project requirements. GWT accommodates both short-term emergency deployments and longer project-duration rentals.

Yes. GWT’s rental units are built and maintained to the same engineering and quality standards as permanent installations, including ISO 9001:2015 compliance.

GWT’s technical team handles all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Spare parts and consumables are stocked locally for rapid response.

Depending on the unit and project requirements, this can be discussed with GWT’s engineering team during the rental period.
